YuYu Hakusho

In the world of Japanese animation, the only anime that is number one for me of all time is “YuYu Hakusho”. Why? Because this is the only anime that I’ve loved so much and I always make it a point to watch this anime. It’s quite long though, I guess it has 112 episodes. I know most of us know its story. It’s about a teenager (Yusuke Urameshi) who had an accident and died because he saved a little boy. Then he was hired as a spirit detective who’ll investigate demonic activities in human world and so he was allowed to live once again. He was joined by some of his friends such as Kazuma Kuwabara whose Yusuke’s close friend, Kurama who is a demon who can control plants, Hiei the one who uses evil eye technique, Koenma who is the son of the King of Spiritual world and the one who hired Yusuke, Botan she is like a shinigami for she is the one who guides spirits on the spiritual world, the we have Genkai who is Yusuke’s master, Yukina is the younger sister of Hiei (although he didn’t want Yukina to know about it), and the we have Keiko who is Yusuke’s girl (lol). Although this series is long, I never get to miss at least one episode because it’s really good. All the fighting scenes are good and it’s really funny. Aside from the 112 episodes they also released 2 movies and I have watched them both.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine Movie Will Hit the Theaters in 2009

Wolverine is back on the big screen this 2009. Hugh Jackman will still play the role of Wolverine. This movie will could also feature Sabretooth, William Stryker, Weapon X and other mutants. Kodi Smit-McPhee plays the role of the young Logan. The official release date of this movie will be in May 1, 2009. The said movie will focus on Wolverine when his skeleton was being bonded with metal adamantium. This is something that I’m excited to because I like Wolverine and I think that he is the coolest mutant.

Dwight Howard and his Superman Slam Dunk

This years Slam Dunk Competition on the 2008 All Star is so far the most creative Slam Dunk Contest I’ve ever seen. Dwight Howard has made a great yet entertaining dunk out there especially when he made the superman dunk. You can see that he really prepared himself for that contest and it’s worth watching for. Because of his performance, 78% fans voted for him to win this contest and he actually did win.

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince (2008)

The newest sequel to Harry Potter movie is set to release this year. Harry Potter and the Half Blood Price set to release in US and UK on November 21, 2007. The director of the fifth film is still the one who directed this movie (David Yates). I guess this will be one movie that we are all looking forward to see this year. Besides, Half Blood Prince already won an award in Movies.com for "Can’t Wait For" award. I can’t wait to see Daniel, Rupert, and Emma on their next adventure this year.

American Idol Season 7's Top 24 Contestants

We no have the Top 24 contestants for the American Idol. I’ve watched them all on TV and I think everyone of them has talent in singing. Well, the road for the Top 24 is really tough I mean they’ve been through a lot of stress. Because we all know that we have to prove ourselves to the judges. Otherwise, well have to go home and wait for the next season.

Just Like Heaven

Just like Heaven is one of my favorite Romantic Comedy Movie. It’s simple but I love it. The movie is titled “Just like Heaven”. This is a story of a doctor who is life evolves in the hospital and she have no time for anything else. She had an accident while going to a place where she will meet someone who her sister set up as her date. That accident had her to coma and she didn’t have an idea about her situation. Then a man with a tragic past rented her apartment, without any knowing that she’s in coma she kept on asking the guy to go out from her apartment. Of course, since she’s just a spirit the poor guy was so scared. He tried to look for ways to have that spirit out from the apartment. But since no one can make her leave, then they thought that maybe she’s not dead yet. They tried to look for her body and since she lost her memory she could not remember where her body is. They found her body on the same hospital where she works and

The Chipmunks Made Me Laugh

I’ve gone from work and when I went home my 2 year old nephew is crying. I wanted to make him stop because I really don’t like the sound of crying kids. Well, I checked my DVDs and I found a movie (“Alvin and The Chipmunks”). I never watched the movie because I always thought that it’s not suitable for me anymore since I’m a grown up. I have no idea that it’s funny. I laughed so hard when I heard them sing “BAD DAY” and “Funky Town”. My nephew loved it so much that he wants to watch it over and over again. It’s a good movie to watch with the whole family.

Dragon Ball on the big screen this 2008

Akira Toriyama’s Dragon ball is the most successful Japanese anime of all time and a movie will be launched by Twentieth Century Fox based on this anime is set to release on August 15, 2008. Stephen Chow who is the man behind “Shaolin Soccer” and “Kung Fu Hustle” is the one producing this film. The main character which is Goku will be played by Justin Chatwin and James Masters will play the villain Piccolo. The movie will be directed by James Wong. So anime Fans be prepare this year as you will experience Goku’s adventure on the big screen.

Iron Man will hit the theaters this 2008

Robert Downey jr plays Tony Stark/Iron Man. Following the success of the marvel heroes in the big screen. Tony Stark is a weapons designer who is taken hostage in Afganistan and was ordered to make a missile for them. Using his creativity he put up a great bullet proof armor with a lot of features in it which he eventually used to free himself. He used that armor to fight crimes. The villain will be Iron Monger which will be played by Jeff Bridges. Now, with all of those great superhero movies that came out I think this one will be a great movie too.
